Can this moment last one minute more?

Your eyes glisten as you look to the sky,
That twinkle, that spark, I don't know why,
The moon shines toward you,
Like a thousand diamonds too,
Stars gleam, sparkle making you smile,
It's nice to see that, it's been a while,
Walking hand in hand,
Feet digging deep in the sand,
The golden grains like a waterfall,
I just want the time to stall,
The waves that gently roll,
This night, looking into my soul,
White foam, shells washed to shore,
Can this moment last one minute more?
Tall cliffs loom, sending shadows over us,
I know this is perfect, it's not hard to suss,
Cool breezes hug us,
The heat, the warmth, this is a must,
Looking toward me, a smile on your face,
Taking me into your sweet embrace.

Cold Wind Blowing

The cold wind is blowing,
Drifting through the trees,
Gently swaying, seeds sowing,
Birds hover with the breeze.

Nights are getting long,
Darker with the time,
Birds await to sing their song,
Morning comes, bringing rhyme.

Frosty as the weather cools,
Slippery paths you walk,
Halloween approaches, beware the ghouls,
Bonfire night, fires burning, we talk.

Christmas not so long away,
New years is coming fast,
Presents for that we pay,
Hoping happiness will last.

The Birds Sing

High up in the sky,
The bird sings , the black magpie,
So far up, they look down,
Upon the Earth, upon a mound,
Upon a tree, upon a rock,
Upon a river, upon a loch,
Their wings flap making no noise,
They sit tall, with much poise,
Crowing toward their mate,
Eyeing the cattle by the gate,
Singing their tuneful song,
The night is short, day is long,
Wake with the sun
Tweeting happily,
Until twilight falls,
Heavily upon them all.

See the mountain soaring high

See the mountain soaring high,
The river twisting round the bends,
Trees swaying as bitter weather draws nigh,
Birds flying high, their cawing sends.

Waterfalls flowing over the edge,
Waves crashing on the shore,
Rock climbers holding onto a ledge,
We want to see more, and more.

Flowers blooming pink, red and blue,
Toadstools standing tall,
The radiant colours with various hue,
Seedlings lying small.

This is the world we live in,
All things great and small,
Destroying it is a sin,
Watch, as the birds shall call.

We Are Made Of Goodness

We are made of goodness,
We are made of hope,
We are made of happiness,
But sometimes it's hard to cope.

But some are made of evil,
Lies, deceit and games,
Maybe there is good in there,
It is just too hard to tame.

Everyone is beautiful,
No matter who they are,
Sometimes it's hard to think that,
They may even leave a scar.

But life continues on,
We grow older every day,
There are others to rely upon,
Just speak out and say.
